Objective To understand the impact of pregnancy-induced hypertension on ECG and fetal electrocardiogram in pregnant women. Methods 294 pregnant women with pregnancy-induced hypertension who were hospitalized and delivered in the Affiliated Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Medical College of Zhejiang University were enrolled in this study. 82 cases of corresponding fetal electrocardiogram were analyzed. Pregnancy-induced hypertension, pregnant women’s electrocardiogram and fetal electrocardiogram were analyzed. Results The probability of pathological changes of electrocardiogram in pregnant women with pregnancy-induced hypertension was related to the severity of pregnancy-induced hypertension. The more serious the pregnancy-induced hypertension was, the higher the probability of pathological changes of ECG. If patients with typical changes in T wave of cerebrovascular disease, especially the emergence of tall and wide T waves, indicating that the disease has been very serious, should pay special attention and timely rescue to prevent the occurrence of maternal death. Conclusions Abnormal fetal electrocardiogram has no significant relationship with the severity of pregnancy-induced hypertension. However, it is still necessary for patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension, especially preeclampsia and eclampsia, to repeatedly check the fetal electrocardiogram during the whole pregnancy.
