由于受气候条件的限制和旧的生产方式的束缚,历史上,在炎热的夏季无人种白菜,因而形成每年3—9月份人们吃不上包心大白菜。为了解决这一难题,作到大白菜一年多熟和大白菜的周年供应,长葛县蔬菜研究所开展了大白菜多季生产栽培技术研究。针对社会需要,以高产、优质、高效益为目的,主攻抗热栽培技术,开展了夏季抗热栽培品种、播期、密度、灌水、种植方式和病虫防治等试验,经过研究与应用,效果相当显著,填补了夏季不产大菜的空白。在大白菜生产技术上是一次新突破。1991年8月通过现场验收和技术签定。为了满足广大菜农的需要,有计划地先后举办48期春夏大白菜技术培训班,已培训679人。已推广到河北栾城、邯郸、山西汾阳、临猗、安微阜南、阜 Due to the climatic conditions and the shackles of the old mode of production, in the history of the desert in the hot summer cabbage, which formed from March to September each year, people can not eat cabbage.
