本文通过考察在晚清留日学生译书热潮之中《新译日本法规大全》的译辑过程及其最终的成书,探讨晚清师法日本的取向以及中日两国法律文化交流的情况。《新译日本法规大全》是由上海商务印书馆和上海南洋公学支持,邀集众多留日学生译辑完成的一部译著。此译著是晚清留日学生译著中较为系统、质量较高的一部,笔者拟考察其译印过程、内容、特点以及版本等问题并总结其对于晚清政治改革以及中国法律文化发展的影响。
This article examines the process of the translation and editing of the “New Code of Japanese Laws and Regulations” and its eventual publication in late-Qing students’ translation process in Japan, and discusses the orientation of Japan in the late Qing dynasty and the legal and cultural exchanges between China and Japan. “The new translation of Japanese law Encyclopedia” is supported by the Shanghai Commercial Press and the Shanghai Nanyang Public School, invited many Japanese students to complete the translation of a translation. This translation is a relatively systematic and high-quality translation of late Qing students in Japan. The author intends to examine the process, content, characteristics and versions of the translation process, and summarizes its implications for political reform in the late Qing Dynasty and the development of Chinese legal culture Impact.
