发动机产业有两种企业,一种是集团规模庞大,包含了发动机和主机制造商,例如卡特彼勒;另外一种是相对独立的发动机企业,例如康明斯。发动机产业的特殊性,决定了发动机企业必须在众多上游配套件供应商和众多下游主机制造商之间寻求建立和谐、平衡而且具有活力的战略同盟关系。这种兄弟般的战略同盟关系对于那些相对独立的发动机企业来说尤为重要,上柴总裁白洪法把这种上下游的战略同盟关系理解为“朋友链”。在走访厦工的时候,记者感受到了这种兄弟般的“朋友链”的坚实程度。厦工的一位高层坦言:“正是得益于上柴的支持,厦工才走出配套危机的窘境。”与此同时,厦工也为上柴提供了在工程机械配套领域发展的空间,这是一个双赢的结果。
There are two types of engines in the engine industry.
