近日传出微软以2亿5000万美元的投票购并一家私人入网络广告公司LinkExchange。大家都知道微软想纵横软体和因特网这两个产业的野心,LinkExchange将整合到微软的入门网站MSN.com中,此举在网络广告代理商这个市场中又会掀起多大的涟漪呢?LinkExchange成立于 1996年,专门针对小型企业提供网站服务,帮助它们在网络上广告、出版、或是从事电子商务。它最成功的网站系统Banner Network有多达40万个网站,可把广告展现在2100万名上网人士面前。然而这些数据可能会高估LinkExehange在付费广告上的力量,因为LinkExchange通常向客户收三分之一~四分之一不等的广告空间当作佣金的一部份,然后把这些广告作为LinkExchange旗下网站间的广告交换。
