Increased plasma insulin levels and impaired glucose tolerance are usually seen in both clinical and experimental hyperthyroidism (hyperthyroidism). Hyperthyroidism in diabetic patients will worsen the metabolic status and increase insulin requirements. To illustrate this situation, it has been speculated that thyroid hormones may produce insulin resistance. However, there is a lack of direct evidence to support this hypothesis for a long time. This article aims to observe the glucose metabolism induced by insulin in experimental hyperthyroidism. The experiment was performed before and after treatment with T 4 in healthy volunteers (men, 20-26 years of age, within 10% of ideal body weight) at a dose of 250 μg /
