中学毕业生语文水平普遍低下,这些年提高缓慢,中学语文教学亟需改革。而作为改进中学语文教学的一个措施是课本文言文增加。笔者认为,这种做法是与提高中学生语文水平的目标背道而驰的。要提高中学生语文水平,不是增加,而是应当大大削减中学的文言文教学。 中学语文编写组采取增加文言文的做法,大概是因为学生的文言文阅读水平过于低下,远远达不到中学语文教学大纲关于高中学生要“能够阅读浅易的文言文”的要求。
The language proficiency of high school graduates is generally low, and these years have been slow to improve. Chinese language teaching in middle schools urgently needs reform. As a measure to improve Chinese teaching in middle school, the number of Chinese texts in textbooks has increased. In my opinion, this approach runs counter to the goal of improving middle school students’ language proficiency. To improve the language proficiency of secondary school students, not to increase, but should greatly reduce the classical Chinese teaching in secondary schools. High school language writing group to increase the practice of classical Chinese, probably because students’ level of reading in classical Chinese is too low, far from the high school Chinese syllabus on high school students to “be able to read easy classical Chinese” requirements.
