The new curriculum reform in compulsory education in our province began in 2001. In 2008, the new curriculum reform in senior middle school education will be fully implemented. The new curriculum emphasizes guiding students to actively study, cultivating students’ autonomy, cooperation, and inquiry-based learning, focusing on their individual growth, and encouraging students to take more courses in areas of interest and potential. Under the guidance of such goals, the classrooms of elementary schools, junior high schools, and even kindergartens are quietly changing: the teaching methods, evaluation methods, and students’ schoolwork burden are all changing. However, in high school, all the reforms and changes seem to have returned to traditional exam-oriented education. Many high school principals and teachers said that the baton of the college entrance examination will remain unchanged, and any quality education reform will only be a form and a new one. burden. In 2004, Guangdong, Shandong, Ningxia, Hainan and other places began to implement new curriculum reforms for ordinary high schools; in 2007, this year, the high school students in this round of new curriculum reforms ushered in the implementation of the first new curriculum reform. The new college entrance examination. The “new curriculum standard college entrance examination” attracted the attention of the nation, especially the high school and teachers. With the advancement of the new curriculum reform, we have discovered that the college entrance examinations that have remained unchanged for decades have quietly changed: self-enrollment, provincial propositions, and the content of the “new curriculum reform” in the traditional high test volume. The proportion is gradually increasing. Perhaps, today, the Ministry of Education vigorously promotes and implements new curriculum reforms. The “New Curriculum Standard” will successfully shake the college entrance exam!
