荔浦香芋原产于广西,以块茎为食品。香味纯,口感细腻,含多种人体必需的氨基酸和维生素,对心脏病和胃病有一定食疗效果。1999年我所引种荔浦香芋,亩(667ｍ2)产商品芋3711.3公斤(ｋｇ),子芋3237公斤,亩产值8000多元,纯收入7000多元。现将其栽培技术简介如下。1 土壤选择荔浦香芋
