为了进一步研究速效氮磷化肥对干旱地区洋芋的增产作用及其防病效果,找出适宜的用量和配合比例,为干旱地区洋芋施用氮磷化肥提供依据,1980年进行了该项试验。试验设在定西县青岚公社碾盘生产队。该队海拔2100多米,年降雨量400毫米左右,年平均气温6.5℃,无霜期120天左右。当年洋芋生育期间降水251毫米,为历年同期平均值326.2毫米的76.9%,仅为上年同期降水量480.7毫米的52.2%。试验地为旱地水平梯田,土质为黄麻土。前茬春小麦,麦收后用老犁、步犁各翻一次,步犁耕深七寸,临冬打耱一次。
