艺术院校的大学英语教学一直处于尴尬的境地,学生英语基础较薄弱且普遍缺乏兴趣,导致教师限于两难的局面。本文旨在探讨利用增加的艺术英语课程为契机,将艺术英语翻译为主题,采用艺术英语词汇讲解,分组讨论及抢答的方式来对译文进行欣赏批评,以期调动课堂气氛,提升学生学习兴趣,并将所学与学生专业相挂钩,与实际接轨。经过一年的实验显示,学生在词汇记忆,语法知识和翻译技巧上都有了明显进步,且保持着浓厚的兴趣。希望本文的研究可以为艺术英语教学的发展完善提供可兹借鉴之处。
College English teaching in art colleges has always been in an awkward situation. The students’ weak English foundation and their general lack of interest lead to the limitation of teachers in a dilemma situation. The purpose of this article is to explore the use of the increased art of English as an opportunity to translate art as the theme of the subject, the use of art vocabulary to explain the English, group discussion and answer the way to appreciate translation criticism, with a view to arouse the classroom atmosphere and enhance students interest in learning and Will learn and student profession linked to the actual convergence. After a year of experiments, students have made significant progress in vocabulary memory, grammar knowledge and translation skills, and have maintained their interest. I hope this study can provide reference for the development of Art English teaching.
