对色散位移光纤中三阶色散影响下皮秒孤子之间的相互作用进行了数值计算,结果表明该类光纤中孤子之间的相互作用比常规光纤中更严重,前者对通信系统性能的影响比后者更大。研究结果还表明,用于抑制常规光纤中孤子间相互作用的相邻孤子不等振幅传输方法只能在较短的传输距离内适合于色散位移光纤。为此,本文还就色散位移光纤中孤子间相互作用的抑制问题提出了新的建议。
The numerical calculations of the interactions between picosecond solitons under the influence of third-order dispersion in dispersion-shifted fibers show that the interaction between solitons in such fibers is more serious than that in conventional fibers. The former has a greater influence on the performance of communication systems The latter is larger. The results also show that the method of unequal amplitude propagation between adjacent solitons for suppressing the soliton interactions in conventional optical fibers can only be suitable for dispersion-shifted optical fibers with shorter transmission distances. To this end, this paper also put forward new suggestions on the suppression of the interaction between solitons in dispersion-shifted fibers.
