激发极化法是以低阻高极化为特征的银铅锌多金属矿找矿中的一种常用的物探方法。银山银铅锌多金属矿区的激电异常大、范围广,且存在高极化岩性等干扰因素,给找矿带来了一定的难度,通过对矿区的地质及地球物理特征的综合分析,认为该矿区的中等电阻率中等极化率异常为有效的找矿标志异常,而非通常的低阻高极化异常,据此设计了三个钻孔对矿致激电异常进行了验证,见到较厚的银铅锌矿体,取得了较好的找矿效果。
