农村饮水安全直接关系人民群众身体健康和生命安全,国家十分重视对农村饮水安全工程的建设。近年来,结合水利部十二五安全饮水规划,重庆全市建成农村饮水工程15万余处,解决了部分农村人口饮水安全问题。但是,由于饮水安全工程源水水质达标程度不高、工程建设资金有缺口、建设过程中施工协调难度大等存在问题,还需结合重庆地区特点,实施科学的建设方案,保障农村饮水的质量,完善饮水使用机制,从而长期维护农村饮水安全工程的建设和管理。
