“十五”是阿克苏地区经济社会发展取得重大成就的五年,全地区呈现出经济发展、社会进步、民族团结、政治稳定、各族人民安居乐业的大好局面。在“十五”奠定的良好基础上和中央、自治区的大力支持下,我们对地区“十一五”的发展充满信心,决心抢抓机遇,发挥优势,乘势而上,坚定不移地实施优势资源转换战略,深入推进“6122”工程(建成石化、煤电、煤焦化、棉产业、以红枣和核桃为主的优质果品及优质商品粮等6大产业基地、1个“龟兹故地、西域精萃”的旅游目的地、阿克苏市和库车2座“龙头城市”、龟兹文化和多浪文化2大文化品牌),加快新型工业化、农业产业化和城镇化建设,努力实现由农业大区向工业强区的历史性跨越,实现在南疆区域崛起,促进社会全面进步,提高人民生活水平,着力构建社会主义和谐阿克苏。
