中专语文应用文教学中,把广告知识作为了必修内容。在今天的商品经济社会,广告已成为人们了解商品、激发购买商品欲望的重要形式。自从有了商品生产与商品交换,广告在奴隶社会时期就已随之产生。“广告”一词,源于拉丁语Adrettee,含义为“注意”、“诱导”,并以通告、公布等形式出现。美国广告主协会给其下的定义是:“广告是付费的大众传播,其最终目的为传递情报,变化人们对于广告商品之态度,诱发其行动而使广告主得到利益。”广告随着历史时期的不同,具有不同的形式,特别是随着商品经济的发展,新的广告形式也在不断出现。纵览中外古代广告主要有以下几种形式:
