Anxiety is the most common mental illness in the general population. About 16% of the world’s people will have anxiety disorders throughout their lives. Eleven percent of people have experienced anxiety over the past year. Anxiety disorders reduce work efficiency, increase the medical burden and the risk of suicide. The first incidence of most anxiety patients is prevalent in adolescence, and women have a higher prevalence than men. Some studies show that, despite the use of first-line treatment, anxiety symptoms and not easy to alleviate. This study selected 71,271 women from the US Nurses Health Study cohort and explored the effects of fine particulate matter exposure and anxiety-related conditions
