1948年11月我自愿报名参军,成了一名人民解放军战士。入伍后,我先后在华北补充团和步兵一一三团一营二连当战士,我们团在河北训练不到一个月就南下了,从此就投入到追歼残敌的战斗中。我们一路南下,边走边打,大小战斗不断,还要防空。在广东廉江战役中我军发扬不怕疲劳,连续作战,猛打猛冲的作风,用了很短时间就结束了战斗,将企图逃往海南 In 1948 November I volunteered to join the army, became a People’s Liberation Army soldiers.
