Like many inventions, in the 10 years from 1780 to 1790, the idea of a ring painting was produced around the world. But only in Britain, at the end of the 19th century, the richest and most developed country in the world, the ideal is put into reality. Only in this largest metropolis there is the power of the public to finance the costs of the panorama and the visual aspects of the information, and the panorama, the art form of the mass media, coincides. The Irishman Robert Buck successfully exhibited two original landscape paintings in Edinburgh a year ago, followed by a two-story hall presentation at London’s 17th Leicester Square in 1793. Since then, one or two new works have been exhibited each year until 1859 (about 60).
