演唱频谱中最低的分音将出现在比第一共振峰高的多的频率之上。换言之,声道传播声音的能力在没有声音要传播的某一频率之上将是最理想的。歌手们似乎倾向于避免这种情况的出现。取而代之,他们放弃正常讲话中的共振峰频率而使第一共振峰频率靠近基础。用于取得这种调正的第一共振峰的主要发音姿态,是变化鄂口的张度。这对于变化第一共振峰频率非常有效。这就说明了为什么女性歌手一般是根据音高而不是像一般讲话中那样根据元音去改变鄂的张开程度。
The lowest subdivision in the singing spectrum will appear above the much higher frequencies than the first formant. In other words, the ability of a channel to transmit sound will be optimal above a certain frequency at which no sound is to be transmitted. The singers seem inclined to avoid this from happening. Instead, they give up the formant frequency in the normal speech and bring the first formant frequency closer to the foundation. The dominant sounding attitude for obtaining the first formant of this correction is the change in the tension of the mouth. This is very effective for varying the frequency of the first formant. This explains why female singers usually change their openness according to their vowels, rather than vowels, as they usually do.
