呼吸治疗(Respiratory Care)是一门专注于心肺功能支持和康复的新兴健康治疗学科。呼吸治疗师(Respira-t ory Care Pract it ioner,RCP)是从事呼吸治疗工作的专业技术人员,在医生的指导下,运用专业手段对心肺功能不全或异常患者给予评价、治疗和指导。美国、加拿大及台湾等地呼吸治疗体制较为健全,在学科建设、执业体制、教育培训和资格认证体制等方面发展均较为完善。国内呼吸治疗职业的起步较晚,体制尚不健全。借鉴国际上呼吸治疗体制的发展历程与经验,在国内推进呼吸呼吸治疗体制的发展应重点从提高执业水平、推进执业认证、加强人员培训等方面努力工作。
Respiratory Care is a new emerging area of health treatment that focuses on cardiopulmonary support and rehabilitation. The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is a professional technician engaged in respiratory therapy. Under the guidance of a doctor, Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP) professionally evaluates, treats and guides patients with cardiopulmonary insufficiency or abnormalities. The respiratory care system in the United States, Canada and Taiwan is sound and has a sound development in disciplinary construction, practicing system, education and training, and accreditation system. Domestic respiratory treatment career started later, the system is not perfect. Draw lessons from the development history and experience of respiratory system in the world, and promote the development of respiratory respiratory system in our country, we should make great efforts to improve practicing level, promote practicing certification and strengthen personnel training.
