Through elaborating the basic theory knowledge of IPv6 Internet scale, compositional structure and technical characteristics, this paper deeply analyzes the security of IPv6 technology in the transition and proposes the future development trend of IPv6 Internet technology from the perspective of network topology and protocol level.
