云南省烤烟生产,近十年来在国内的地位有后来居上之势。五一年全国土特产展览在上海开会时,云南出产的烟叶和香烟均被评为第一。云南烟叶的产量除供省内需用外尚可外销,以玉溪、蒙自、宜良等专区产的数量特多;在这几个重点烟区,烟农们对烤烟生产均有比较丰富的经验。笔者一年来根据种烟重点乡村的调查和召开烟农代表会,个别访问以及与同志们 Flue-cured tobacco production in Yunnan Province, the past decade in the domestic status have come from behind.
