Modern aircraft generally must take off and land on the runway of the airport. Airports with many runways, with control towers, cable and radio communication equipment, as well as radar and other navigation equipment, are complex and expensive engineering buildings. During the war, a large number of aircraft were concentrated at the airport and became a significant target of enemy attacks. Due to the lack of airports, it is sometimes impossible to use them even though there are many excellent aircraft. To eliminate this difficulty, modern designers sought to design aircraft that could take off and land at small sites without the use of airports. Some of these aircraft are pictured here. (1) This is an aircraft that takes off with a take-off frame. The aircraft uses a crane device on a special tilted shelf and relies on the aircraft.
