一培養教員的重要性中國人民大學是從老區高等學校的基礎上創辦起來的,它的前身是華北大學。由於過去學校帶著短期政治教育的性質,所以遺留下來的教員數量既不夠用,質量也不夠高;中國人民大學各門專業課程絕大多數又是過去華北大學所沒有的。因而在建校初期,也一般地感到培養教員的重要性,但在思想上總認爲新培養的教員不可能馬上教課,如果讓他們馬上教課是會影響教學質量的。由於這種思想的支配,在一九五○年上學期,我們曾經把講課的希望寄託在外面的負責同志或專家名流的身上,到處奔波請這些同志來上課。因爲這些同志都忙於自己的工作,有的謝絕我們的請求,有的答應了,但不能按照我們的教
The importance of training teachers Renmin University of China is founded on the basis of the old colleges and universities, its predecessor is North China University. Due to the nature of short-term political education in schools in the past, the number of teachers left over is neither sufficient nor of sufficient quality. The vast majority of the specialized courses offered by Renmin University of China are those that North China University did not have in the past. Therefore, in the early days of school, the importance of training teachers was generally felt. However, it was always thought that newly-trained teachers could not teach classes immediately. It would affect the quality of teaching if they were taught immediately. As a result of this ideology, in the first semester of 1950, we had pinned our hopes of lecturing on the elite comrades or experts who were outside and went round to invite these comrades to attend classes. Because these comrades are busy with their work, and some refuse our requests, others agree, but they can not follow our teachings
