For many people, Jiang Yanyong may still be a strange name. Jiang Yung-yung is one of the 6 million health workers in China who have been fighting staunchly with the SARS, but the old surgeon in a unique way has tied himself to China’s fight against SARS. In the history of China’s anti-SARS in 2003, more and more people will remember this name. Therefore, the latest issue of Caijing magazine titled “Jiang Yanyong telling the truth” describes the 72-year-old retired surgeon at the 301 Hospital of PLA at the front and back in the fight against SARS. To this end, he received a lot of thank-you letters, only one letter, is to thank the honest doctor in Beijing’s SARS outbreak on the truth. He said: “I only think of two things. One is that human life is the most important. The second is to tell the truth and accept both of these points.”
