On February 27, 1984, the State Council promulgated the “Order on Uniform Implementation of Statutory Measurement Units in China” and promulgated the “Statutory Measurement Unit of the People’s Republic of China” at the same time. In accordance with the requirements of the State Council, books and periodicals published since 1986 must use legal units of measurement. Therefore, comrades who submit their contributions to Nuclear Technology Magazine are required to use legal units of measurement in their manuscripts and to stop using non-unit of measurement. Legal units of measure have two forms: international symbols (eg m, kg, s) and Chinese symbols (eg meters, kilograms, seconds). Units and prefixes used in science and technology books and periodicals should generally use international symbols. We refer to the relevant information, compiled a “commonly used statutory and non-statutory units of measure index” for your reference.
