三 从传统意义上看,一件雕塑作品首先应该含有人工因素,而人工因素就意味着作品中势必含有技术成份。虽然技术不等于雕塑,但在传统意义上雕塑首先就应该是一种技术分工。如果在雕塑创造中把艺术性与技术性对立看待,则不仅会导致技术水平的退化,而且更会使雕塑创造沦为一个毫无标准可言的空壳。 二十世纪的现代雕塑,在对待技术性的态度上存在着弱化与强化二种极端倾向。这相互依存又相互斗争的一对矛盾,构成了二十世纪现代雕塑舞台上的有趣一幕。
Thirdly, in the traditional sense, a sculpture should first contain human factors, and human factors mean that the works must contain technical elements. Although technology does not equal sculpture, sculpture should, in the first place, be a technical division of labor. If artistic and technical opposites are to be found in the creation of sculptures, it will not only lead to the degradation of the technical level, but will also make the creation of sculptures an empty shell with no standard. The modern sculpture of the twentieth century has two kinds of extreme tendencies of weakening and strengthening in treating the technical attitude. This contradiction of interdependence and mutual struggle constitutes an interesting scene on the modern sculpture stage of the twentieth century.
