半导体致冷也称电子冷冻,是六十年代发展起来的一种新型冷源。目前,国内运营的客车,一般均无空调。在炎夏,车箱内(尤其是包房内)温度高达四十度左右,仅用电风扇吹,事实上达不到防暑降温目的。在毛主席三项重要指示推动下,北京铁路局北京车辆段和铁道部建厂局科研所合作,大胆地把半导体致冷这一新技术应用在客车上,进行防暑降温。通过模拟试验和正式装车运行试验证明,在客车上采用半导体致冷进行防暑降温是可行的,效果是良好的。在客车上采用
Semiconductor cooling, also known as electronic freezing, is a new type of cold source developed in the 1960s. At present, domestic buses are generally air-conditioned. In the summer, the car (especially private room) temperature up to about forty degrees, only the fan blowing, in fact, reach the purpose of sunstroke cooling.
