近年来,智能家居有了较快的发展,从其发展的特点来看,由于国内外的家居环境不同,在发展上也各有侧重。在国外,人们居住的环境多以别墅、独体式房屋为主,所以智能家居就更侧重信息网络的联通、家庭娱乐的控制等;而我国的居住环境多以住宅小区式为主,家居系统应用多集中在安防方面。从调查中发现,在国内安防的需求要高于智能家居的另外几项功能需求,所以安防系统的发展比较迅速,并独成一派,可以独立推广。在家居安防中,视频监控可谓智能家居的眼睛,其可以满足人们随时随地监控和智能控制家里情况的需求,家居监控市场孕育产生。目前已有不少监控企业涌进这个新兴的细分行业,市场供需都有所升温。
