2003年10月,中国开始实施新的婚姻登记条例,婚检从“强制”改为“自愿”后,全国婚检率却开始迅速下降。太原市妇幼保健院妇保处每日接待婚检人数仅为一到两对夫妇。婚检率迅速下降的情况如果长久持续下去,将对家庭、社会及母婴健康、出生人口素质产生非常严重的影响。
In October 2003, when China began implementing the new marriage registration regulation, the premarital rate of premarital examination started to drop rapidly after the premarital examination was changed from “mandatory” to “voluntary”. Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Taiyuan, Department of Maternal and Child Health daily reception of premarital number is only one or two couples. The rapid decline in the rate of premarital examination, if persisted for a long time, will have a very serious impact on the health of the family, the community, mother-child health and the quality of the birth population.
