烟道闸门主要用以调节炉膛压力,控制炉子的热工制度。它对于提高燃料利用率,金属回收率及对安全生产和环境保护都具有重要的作用。是工业炉烟道不可缺少的装置, 大型工业炉窑,烟气量大,温度高,含尘浓度大,烟道闸门使用的环境和条件也相当恶劣,一般闸门的气密性,安全可靠性也难满足生产的需要,其使用寿命也不能令人满意。往往在生产过程中发生变形卡壳和堵塞,一时义难以更换,不但影响生产,有时还会造成安全事故。而滑动闸门无论在气密性,安全可靠性或是使用寿命都较一般闸门有较大的提高。
