上海是中国民族保险业的摇篮和中心,在民族资本保险公司中,于1915年成立的永安水火保险有限公司既不算创办最早,也不算规模特别大,更谈不上经营特别成功。但透过这份凭单,我们看到的是郭氏永安集团由商业资本积累、到投资金融业,并进一步投资纺织业、发展实业的成功历程,这才是值得一书的。
Shanghai is the cradle and center of China’s national insurance industry. In the national capital insurance company, Yong’an Water & Fire Insurance Co., Ltd. was established in 1915 as neither the earliest nor the exceptionally large-scale operation, let alone the special success of the operation. However, through this voucher, what we have seen is the successful history of the Kuok Wing Wing Group from the accumulation of commercial capital to the investment in the financial industry and the further investment in the textile industry and the development of the industry. This is a book worthy of consideration.
