云南省华宁县盘江大桥,是在没有工程师、没有设备的情况下架设起来的。全桥两孔,一孔30公尺,一孔22.4公尺,共长88公尺。这座大桥已经在今年七月一日通车了,作为向党的“七一”献礼。这篇文章主要是介绍架设钢梁的经过。这座桥上所用的钢架,每节长3.81公尺,高1.83公尺,宽0.61公尺,估计重量为800公斤。第一孔采用八节的两片,每片全长30.48公尺,估计重量为6.4吨;第二孔采用六节的两片,每片全长22.86公尺,估计重量为4.8吨。在水深流急不可能搭便桥或脚手架的情况下要把这样重的四片钢架安装在墩台上是有困难的,因为县里的机具和材料都缺乏,仅有10吨、5吨和2吨重的葫芦各一个,此外,还有直径为2公分的钢绳,既没有
