利用地震资料勘探地层圈闭有赖于找出有关参数的显著横向差异。可用多变量统计方法分析地震波形特征、纵波速度、横波层速度、相干性、反射振幅及其它参数,从而确定这种有意义的变化发生在什么地方。这些方法不仅可分析每个参数的重要性,同时也能给出关于由观测的这组参数了解岩性序列的机制。本文将讨论参数测定以及把测定的那些参数化成与产生油气的概率有关的单一参数的某些方法。
The use of seismic data for exploration of formation traps depends on finding significant lateral differences in the parameters involved. Multivariate statistical methods can be used to analyze seismic waveform characteristics, P-wave velocity, shear-wave velocity, coherence, reflection amplitudes, and other parameters to determine where this meaningful change occurs. These methods not only analyze the importance of each parameter, but also give a mechanism for understanding the lithologic sequence from the observed set of parameters. This article will discuss some of the methods used to determine parameters and to parameterize those measurements to a single parameter related to the probability of hydrocarbon generation.
