THE 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation （FOCAC） kicked off on September 3 in Beijing， and had more than 50 leaders of African countries gathering in attendance.
Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech titled “Work Together for Common Development and a Shared Future” at the opening ceremony， outlining the new blueprint for China-Africa cooperation， including eight cooperation initiatives， which was warmly welcomed by those attending the FOCAC Beijing Summit.
