Immune complex (IC) is the body’s immune response in the antigen and antibody products. This is a normal defensive function that facilitates phagocytosis and clearance of antigens. If for some reason these ICs can not be rapidly cleared, they are present in the bloodstream and are called circulating immune complexes (CICs). Soluble, medium-sized CICs can locally deposit and activate the complement through the classical pathway to produce a series of inflammatory cytokines (such as C_ (3a), C_ (5a), etc.) to cause tissue damage. Although the reason for the deposition of a specific site of CIC is currently only speculation, there are many factors involved in the pathogenesis, some of which are still not clear, but the pathogenic role of IC, increasingly heavy
