硒是谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH-Px)的必需组成部分。动物实验证明血和组织中GSH-Px活力与摄入硒量有密切关系。因此,测定血和组织中GSH-Px活力可作为评定机体中硒营养状况的一个指标。作者等在前报告中报导了大鼠饲料硒含量在0.03ppm时,动物血和组织中硒含量和GSH-Px活力随蛋白质水平上升而下降。由于血和组织中GSH-Px活力对评定硒营养状况的重要意义,本文将进一步探讨产生这一现象的原因。
Selenium is an essential component of glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px). Animal experiments show that GSH-Px activity in blood and tissue is closely related to the amount of selenium intake. Therefore, determining the activity of GSH-Px in blood and tissues can be used as an indicator of selenium nutritional status in the body. In a previous report, the authors reported that dietary selenium levels at 0.03 ppm decreased selenium levels and GSH-Px activity in blood and tissues of animals as protein levels increased. Because of the significance of GSH-Px activity in blood and tissues for the assessment of selenium nutrition status, this article will further explore the reasons for this phenomenon.
