斯洛伐克科学院机械材料研究所研制出一种名为Alulight的“发泡”材料,堪称是金属材料家族的一支后起之秀。铝材经“发泡”处理之后,其质地疏松多孔,充满了空心孔隙结构,使材料的密度小至300~1000kg/m~3,不仅比相应的实体铝材轻得多,而且比水还轻。正因为“发泡”铝材具有这种物理结构,所说它成为一种集轻质(可漂浮于水面)、吸音性好、缓震效果佳、电磁兼容作用显著,且强度足够高等优异性能于一体的特殊金属材料。
