Hu Fu is a pseudonym of Comrade Liu Shaoqi. From 1939 to 1942, Comrade Shaoqi made an open public comment during his tenure as CPC Central Bureau Secretary of the Central Plains Bureau and political commissar of the New Fourth Army. Chairman Mao, Vice-Chairman Zhou, Commander-in-Chief Zhu, and others, and Comrade Shaoqi’s exchanges of letters and telegrams, are also more proportionate. In this way, Comrade Shaoqi flew over the Central Plains for more than three years in the war of resistance against Japan, accumulating a large number of documents and telegrams in combat and secret codes. Since Comrade Shaoqi loves these materials and can carry them for use at any time, people call it “a document for the beggar’s sake.”
