多头螺纹的加工,在我国多数工厂仍延用多线梳刀、导模片分头、圆盘分度等陈旧的加工方式。我厂采用一种用柱式阿基米德凸轮(以下简称凸轮)在六角车床(本厂选用C336K—1六角车床)上加工多头螺纹的方法,经多年来连续成批生产的考验,证明此方法具有成本低、效率高、操作简便的优点,同时加工螺纹的规格范围大(指头数与导程)、精度高、质量稳定,而且设备改造的工作量小。机床改造后不仅能进行多头螺纹的半自动加工,还可在加工多头螺纹的工序中随时应用原机床所具有的全部功能。
