Objective: To investigate the cytotoxicity of three commonly used porcelain alloys. Methods: The relative proliferation rate (RGR) of mouse fibroblast L929 in three kinds of porcelain alloy materials were detected by MTT method and single cell gel electrophoresis (comet assay) Impact and DNA damage. Results: The RGR of the gold alloy group was 87.7 ± 11.3, which showed no significant difference compared with that of the cobalt-chromium alloy group and the control group (P <0.05). There was significant difference between the other groups (P <0.05) Of the damage was mainly severe damage, while cobalt-chromium alloy and gold alloy were mild and moderate damage, respectively. Conclusion: The effect of gold alloy and cobalt-chromium alloy on RGR is significantly less than that of nickel-chromium alloy, and at the same time the gold damage caused by gold alloy material is the lightest. Therefore, gold alloy material is a dental alloy with good biological properties .
