武昌南内燃机务段曾出现东风_4型内燃机车主发电机转子励磁绕组接地的情况。经万用表测量,滑环对地电阻仅1Ω左右。我们对转子外观反复检查,没有发现任何异状。若按常规将18个励磁线圈分解检查是相当麻烦的,尤其励磁线圈之间采用铜焊联接,拆装更加困难。为此,我们摸索出一种新办法,只用几分钟就把故障范围确定了。检查办法如图所示。在滑环与地之间通入一定的励磁电流,依据滑环Ⅰ到接地点部分的线圈有电流通过会产生磁场的原理,用20~30厘米长铁棒(或角钢之类的铁磁物质)依次横跨相邻两磁极的铁芯构成磁桥。在搭接时感受到电磁吸力,证明该磁路有磁通存在,即铁棒所接近的磁极线圈有电流流过,以此追踪接地
