During the use of diesel locomotives and after the completion of the repairs, fuel oil pump rack and pump continuously occur between the excessive leakage of oil events. To find out why this is the cause, look at the flow paths for oil in fuel pumps and putters (see photo) for 2,100 diesel engines. When the pushrod roller is on the convex portion of the fuel pump drive, there is a gap of 1.3 mm between the pushrod body groove and the pushrod head. The oil flows into the cavity along this gap, and then flows into the diesel crankcase along the overflow camp. Part of the oil passes through the space between the push rod and the push rod body to enter the fuel pump cavity, and then flows from the inner cavity along the pipe joint and the overflow pipe into the fuel tank
