墨子以“治天下”为任,主张在社会生活中必须贯彻“兼相爱交相利”的原则,使人与人之间和睦相处,国与国、人与社会和睦相处,共同发展,天下永远太平。墨子思想与现代社会提倡的和谐社会有惊人的相似,其思想体系孕育着和谐的因素:一是人际关系的和谐,二是人与社会关系的和谐。墨子的和谐思想对我们构建社会主义和谐社会有着重要启示。
