当前社会对大学生毕业生的英语水平提出了更高的要求,但是高职学生的总体英语水平却有下降的趋势。背诵是英语教学的一种重要手段,近年来却被广大师生所忽视。本文从二语习得中的输入和输出理论入手,指出当前高职院校学生英语学习输入严重不足,而背诵是实现语言输入最有效的途径。进而就高职学生英语学习中的背诵教学提出相应的策略和方法。
The current society puts forward higher requirements on the English proficiency of college graduates, but there is a downward trend in the overall English proficiency of vocational college students. Recitation is an important means of English teaching, but in recent years has been ignored by the majority of teachers and students. This paper starts with the theory of input and output in second language acquisition, and points out that there is a serious shortage of students’ English learning input in current vocational colleges. Memorization is the most effective way to achieve language input. And then put forward the corresponding strategies and methods for reciting teaching of English in higher vocational students.
