教育的目的在于培养学生学习能力和创新精神,新课程改革,给教师带来了全新的课程理念,即必须转变学生的学习方式和教师的教学方式,变“授之以鱼”为“授之以渔”。教育的实质是为了发展人。传统教育模式在很大程度上忽略了教育对象的主体性地位,因而缺少对人的能动性的激发,使得受教育者的学习能力和创造性思维受到抑制,这就难免使教育的效益低下,很难满足当代及未来社会对人才的要求。随着心理学、社会学、教育学的诸学科理论研究的不断深入发展,人们越来越认识到教育教学转变思想和方法的必要。自主学习模式应运而生。
