从中国近代美术发展的历史进稗来看,连环画一直伴随着国际国内的艺术格局和人文环境的时代变迁不断校正自己的表现方式和发展方向。这种校正有源于艺术语言的探索而最终水到渠成的顿悟,也有对社会审美需求变化的关注和妥协。自20世纪中叶到21世纪初,中国连环画在不断自省与试错的过程中经历了辉煌与黯淡的起起落落之后,最终在2007年由中国美术家协会连环画艺委会首次提出了“大连环画”的概念。
Judging from the history of the development of modern Chinese art, the comic has been constantly correcting its way of expression and direction of development along with the changing times of the international and domestic art and cultural environment. This correction stems from the exploration of the art language and eventually came to an insight, but also concerns and compromises on the changes in the aesthetic needs of society. From the middle of the 20th century to the beginning of the 21st century, Chinese comic books finally experienced the glorious and dim ups and downs in the process of continuous self-examination and trial and error. At the end of 2007, China’s comic book was first proposed by the comic art commission of the Chinese Artists Association Comic strip "concept.
