This article presents an expert system for dam safety monitoring and the implementation of remote transmission networks that make up the system. This system uses the expert’s experience to analyze and predict the data from the on-site observation and provide scientific decision-making basis for the safe and economical operation of the dam. Currently the remote transmission network has been put into use
