新闻媒体与民国社会史的研究是近年来史学研究的热点,但《大公报》与民国乡村建设运动的研究还很少有人涉及。《大公报》是民国时期影响广泛的报刊之一。20世纪二三十年代,《大公报》以深切的人本关怀精神,对农业、农村、农民问题做了大量报道。它呼吁关注民生,主张政府参与,并在乡村建设运动高潮期间推出《乡村建设副刊》,为乡村建设事业创造舆论平台。《大公报》既反映了时人关注的社会焦点,也起到了为乡村建设运动推波助澜的作用,成为今天解读民国乡村建设运动的窗口。
The study of the news media and the social history of the Republic of China is a hotspot in the study of historiography in recent years. However, there are very few studies on the Ta Kung Pao and the Republic of China’s rural construction movement. Ta Kung Pao was one of the most influential newspapers in the Republic of China. In the 1920s and 1930s, Ta Kung Pao made extensive reports on the problems of agriculture, rural areas and peasants with a profound human-centered spirit of care. It called attention to people’s livelihood, advocated the government’s participation, and launched the “Supplement on Rural Construction” during the height of the rural construction movement to create a platform for public opinion in rural construction. Ta Kung Pao not only reflects the social focus that people are concerned about but also plays a role in fueling the rural construction movement and becomes the window for interpreting the rural construction movement in the Republic of China today.
